Well Saturday was a pretty neat day for me....Our local Christian camp hosted a ladies day that was SOOO much fun.
We made candy and candles and body lotions and body scrubs...At least that was the first part of the Day!! The second part of the day we got to get facials, hair cuts adn hair styled hand , foot and back massages, and our makeup done! They also provided free child care to which TORNADO HAD A BLAST!
I can home just smiling away i had so much fun...THANKS HONEY FOR THE SURPRISE!
I also came home with a new hair cut and a few new Ideas on how to deal with the amazing amount of hair I have!!!
Well First I had it layered. I had it like this in college a lot BUT i always made it curly. The lady who styled my hair used a flat iron on my hair which really made the layers stand out AND then she put anti Frizz stuff on my hair. I never thought my hair was frizzy but what a neat transformation! Now I must admit I had to brush my hair before our Open house that evening so it is more poofy than earlier in the day!
Tornado said the cutest thing to me at the camp as I helped him up to the water fountain...he looked up at me with those blue eyes of his and said (without any prompting) "Mommy your hair looks so beautiful"
Talk about melting a mommies heart! What a sweet boy you are!

Today We Are Sad
This morning we found out via a facebook post by a friend of ours that her little girl is going to die! This touches my heart so much because this little girls holds a VERY special Place in my heart. She was one of my two flower girls.....I also lived with her family for a couple of weeks while I looked for an apartment my senior year of college and her mom DID all of my flowers for my wedding!
The family is going through some other Major trauma as well and could REALLY use your prayers. Sasha you are such a brave young lady and we LOVE YOU!!

A VERY Long Story Cut VERY Short!
We got one dog,
His name was Ace.
He seemed to be just our pace.
He was cute
but he was huge.
He was a Great Dane Lab Mix!
The sad thing was this cute dog of ours
Got attacked by a pit bull the day after we got him.
And then he was scared ...
He nipped at hubby and I though he cared for the kids!
So we said goodbye through many tears.
We prayed and Prayed
And through much looking we found a pair meant to be.
What joy they have brought.
Their names are Linus and Lucy and they are as happy as can be!
Being Lazy as you will see
They are quite and lazy and and as laid back as can be for two little Puppies of the ripe old age of five months. they are brother and sister and they love each other. Labs are companion dogs...they LOVE the companionship of other dogs and it has worked well.
We will miss you Ace And we Love you Lucy and Linus!

My Life in the last two days....
Tornado Singing Baa Baa Black sheep yesterday.."One for my master, one for the dame and one for the little boy who lives down the drain"
Hubby had called me to make some updates on the prayer list and Vug started crying so I let Hubby go and went to see the trouble...the trouble...Tornado and Ladybug were "holding communion" With Ladybug's' plastic Teapot and Tornado saying "and this water wepwresents Chwist's Bwood"...Apparently vug is too young to take preschool communion!!! LOL...I called Hubby right back...Hubby laughed as hard as I did. Hubby said "he is setting himself up for a hard road" You should hear this boy preach and he is ONLY 4!
Lafybug is actually playing ...YAY...that's after she informed me this morning."I'm not sick anymore *vomit*...." Insert a very whiny as sick as you can get tone for a three year old!
Yep that about sums it up!

Long time No Post
So it has been over a month since we have last posted ANYTHING to this blog and I am SOOO sorry....BUT we have moved and had a VERY eventful month...LadyBug got sick..which made mommy get sick with pinkeye and the flu which made tornado and Vug get sick..We fgot better this past weekend..that is until Tuesday (mommy's birthday) when EVERYONE woke up with a dreadful 24 hour stomach bug. Thursday was our churches AWANA grand prix (hence the reason for this post.
It was Tornado's first time racing and we wanted to share some pictures of his car!..which hubby made with a little help from the kids!
